Child Dedication

The Dedication Service provides you, as a parent, an opportunity to make public before God and the church body your commitment to raise your child in the nurture and instruction of the Lord. During the ceremony, parents dedicate themselves to provide a Christ-centered environment for their children to grow up in, the church body commits to walking alongside your family in a supportive role, and parents dedicate their child(ren) to God, recognizing that they are a gift and ultimately belong to Him.

Dedication ceremonies are held several times throughout the year during our morning worship service. Please feel free to invite family members and friends to attend the service. If you are interested in having your child(ren) dedicated, please email us at forward@forwardbaptist.ca.
