Life groups are made up of individuals who are simply sharing life together. They are gatherings of people who meet in homes regularly to study God’s Word, discuss the joys and challenges of life, support one another, and encourage and challenge others in their relationships with God. Life Groups are also an excellent way to get involved in service, both in the church as well as in the community.

There are so many answers to that question – here are just a few....

1. Life Groups offer tremendous support as you journey through the successes and challenges of life. It’s a comfortable place to ask hard questions, to share insights, to care and be cared for, to celebrate the joys, and to find encouragement when life gets tough. Joining a Life Group means that you won’t ever have to do life alone.

2. Life Groups are all about transformation. As together we study God’s Word and passionately pursue what it means to be a Christ follower, our hearts and lives are radically changed. In turn, the church body as a whole is impacted; creating a fellowship of believers empowered to make a difference in our world.

3. Life Groups are an ideal means for helping people in need. Relationships are deepened through various compassion projects as group members work together to serve others both inside and outside the walls of 455 Myers Rd.

No. Each Life group is unique in style and format. Some meet weekly, while others meet twice a month. Many of the Life Groups are sermon-based, exploring ways to practically live out the weekly Sunday message, while others explore topics in areas such as marriage, raising kids, prayer, witnessing and discipleship.

Good question. The answer is a definite YES. Regardless of how you’re wired, or where you are in your spiritual journey, you can plug into a Life Group. There’s a place for everyone. Life Groups are not an “added” program but are rather an integral component of being connected within the Forward community.
