Love God, Love Others, Serve the World

- The Word - We proclaim the Bible with boldness and in the power of the spirit as it is our definitive guide to the Lord and living.
- Worship - We are building a community where our worship is the continual outflow of being overwhelmed by the greatness of our God.
- Restoration - We know Christ is able to rebuild broken lives. Therefore life transformation is the norm for our people. This transformation is the ongoing growth in reflecting the image of Christ in our daily lives.
- Prayer - We believe in the power of prayer. Therefore, we desire that every person in our faith community will have an insatiable appetite to spend time with God in prayer.
- Community - Forward is all about relationships. We are a multigenerational family united by Christ but understanding our unique contributions. We desire to be a community of relationships characterized by respect, thoughtfulness, courtesy, submission, generosity, encouragement and forgiveness.
- Engagement - We believe that every member of our community is called to minister. We have an expectation of each one contributing there energy and talent to see Forward accomplish its kingdom goals.
- Missional - We believe that God has called us to play our role in impacting our neighbours, the nations and the next generation for Christ. This will require us to take the message of Christ to world in which we live, work and play. Further, we will do more than our share of taking this message to the least reached places of the world.
- Creativity - We believe that the greatest truths in the world are worthy of being communicated in the most memorable of ways. This means we desire to unleash the collective creative gifts of our people in every area of ministry. Although we are quite orthodox in our theology we desire to be relevant and meaningful in our methodology.
- The Next Generation - Children are a heritage form the Lord. Hence we desire to train our children, empower them in service and have the expectation that they will lead this church in the future.
- Generostiy - A mature follower of Christ is generous in all areas of their lives including their finances. This is demonstrated by faithful giving of tithes and offerings to the Lord.
